Isan Chics for Isan Kids
BWILD ISAN started the business during the world’s crisis of Covid 19. We have determined from the beginning to build people and create opportunities in Isan region, our hometown. We have applied the business model which intends to return the benefits to Isan people and does not only pay attention to the profits of the business. We are slowly getting ready to share our profits to the society and finally released the project, Isan Chics for Isan Kids. Each BWILD ISAN Kai Baan bag sale returns an “organic Kai Baan meat” lunch meal from Taen Khun and Kai Baan farms of Isan farmers who intentionally produce quality food for Isan kids in remote schools.
The aims of “Isan Chics for Isan Kids” project
We believe that all businesses can start sharing with others. As long as we know ourselves, even a small business can help others without hurting itself. Helping others this way will last longer and be more stable. We have started from the school that is attended by 104 kindergarten, primary and secondary students. The price of the chicken meat is between 180-220 baht per kilogram and 80 kilograms per month or about 960 kilograms per year is needed for a school. We hope when our business is growing, we can expand the project, “Isan Chics for Isan Kids” to other schools.
What is more than the food we give them is the moment that we can feel and understand them better. What we want to see is that Isan kids have abilities and are valuable in other people’s views so that they can get more opportunities. The future of Isan is the people who will continue good Isan cultures and pass them to the next generations. When people have a future, Isan also has one too.
